Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Note: There is a 12% service charge. Note: When asked if you’d like vegetables, do check if it’s chargeable or part of the meal. We visited this busy restaurant after reading its Google reviews. It seems to attract quite a crowd, likely due to the many positive comments online. The service was excellent—very warm and incredibly fast. The owner, in particular, was very welcoming and provided great service. The food was decent overall. The fish was fresh and had no stinky smell, but it wasn’t super excellent—just okay. The meatballs with pasta were average—nothing particularly special. We did encounter a bit of confusion when ordering. While ordering the fish, the owner asked if we’d like vegetables. Naturally, we assumed it was included with the fish dish. Unfortunately, we later found out we were charged €8 for the vegetables, which we barely touched. This was disappointing. Overall, we paid €92 for our meal, including the service charge. While the experience had its positives, this misunderstanding left us feeling a bit let down."
"Fair price for a place like Venice. It was advice from the "gondole" after a gondola tour. Feels like a lot of locals visit the restaurant. The food was tasty and fresh, and the service was just "ok"."
"Great meals as well as their service. I like the music choice very much."
"Went there for dinner with the family. Had probably one the best spaghetti carbonara ever. It was just right . Rest of the crew really enjoyed the food as well. The service was excellent. It was prompt with good recommendations but never in your face."
"The restaurant is away from the busy sections of Venice, also noticed that the locals were also eating here. We had some small bites which were quite tasty; also the atmosphere itself was very “rock and roll”"
"Best tiramisu, both pasta were really good. Nice atmosphere. We were seated right away."
"Hidden local place with excellent food and fair prices Place A slightly hidden spot with a small dining area, so finding a table at peak hours can be tricky. The atmosphere is authentic and local, with a mix of elderly couples, families and their dogs, and workers stopping by for coffee and conversation. Staff Family-managed with a traditional, old-school style of service. Professional and straightforward in their approach. Food Outstanding dishes. Both pastas were excellent and the tiramisu was absolutely worth it. Everything felt authentic and well-prepared. Prices Fair for the city and the quality of food. Not too expensive, not too cheap, just right for what you get."
"Fantastic authentic venetian food. Both of our guests houses told us to go here. Friendly staff and less touristy. Highly recommend."
